The Philosopher
Hakeem Sirr-e-Mohabbat Se Be-Naseeb Raha
He could fly high but he wasn’t daring and passionate,
The sage remained a stranger to the secret of Love.
Shakar-e-Zinda Ki Lazzat Se Be-Naseeb Raha
The vulture roamed around the air like an eagle,
But could not get acquainted with the taste of a fresh prey.
