Issi Se Resha-e-Ma’ani Mein Nam Hai
The mysticʹs soul is like the morning breeze:
It freshens and renews lifeʹs inner meaning;
Shabani* Se Kaleemi Do Kadam Hai
*Shaban ka matlab Charwaha/Gaderiya
An illumined soul can be a shepherdʹs, who
Could hear the Voice of God at Godʹs command.
